Professional Experience

Lewis has 5 years of training experience across various disciplines of exercise. This includes 3 years of coaching mentorship from Coach Jack, which has supplied him with the skill set and knowledge to provide a high quality coaching service tailored to any clients and their specific goals or needs. His experience includes competing as a bodybuilding athlete in his debut season in 2023, which saw him win multiple gold medals across his divisions.

My mission as a coach is to provide my clients the knowledge and motivation to become the best version of themselves. I strongly believe in constructing a nutrition and exercise plan that is  both enjoyable and sustainable for my clients, as this drives adherence and consistency both of which are pivotal factors for any individual looking to smash their goals in fitness

My Story

Hi I’mLewis, Coach at JCF, here’s a little bit about myself and my journey. I was born in Staffordshire,England and immigrated to the Gold Coast when I was 9 years old. Growing up, I was always a very sport orientated individual. From a young age I played football competitively and in my high school years i represented QLD in both football and long distance running, so fitness has been in my life for as long as I can remember.

However, after completing high school in 2014, and being exposed to the “party” lifestyle my priorities began to change. I found myself drinking and partying every weekend without fail and after a number of years this took a toll on both my physical and mental health. During this time of my life I joined a gym on two seperate occasions in an attempt to improve my physique and my self confidence as a result, however my commitment never lasted more than a few months as I’d continue to prioritise drinking with my mates.

In January 2020 I came to the realisation that I need to implement changes to my lifestyle if I wanted to improve both my happiness and self confidence. This is where the second phase of my fitness journey began. I started by doing home workouts in my garage on a daily basis, utilising bodyweight exercises and kettlebells for my resistance training whilst also running a couple of times a week. After 7 months of consistency I decided I wanted to broaden my exercise regime so I joined a local gym, which commenced my love for lifting weights. I fell in love with this lifestyle. I was committed to training 5 times a week and eating “clean” and really started to see some great results across the first 9 months, but then my progression began to slow down and reached a slight plateau. In order to overcome this plateau I decided to seek a coach and commit to an 8 week program just so I could improve my knowledge, to prevent future plateaus in my progression. This is where a friend recommended me to Jack Cooper Fitness. 


Jacks level of knowledge blew me away from day one. I quickly came to the realisation that despite years of sport and fitness experience, I really only had a very basic understanding of what I was doing. Months went by and my progression and knowledge on training and nutrition was growing rapidly, not to mention how positively this lifestyle was impacting my life. This drove my desire into pursuing fitness as a career so I could assist others in achieving this level of self satisfaction. 


Flash forward to now, after over 3 years of being coached and mentored by Jack, I’ve completely transformed my physique, I competed in a bodybuilding show which saw me win multiple categories, I completed my cert 3 & 4 in fitness, and learned new skills and knowledge regarding fitness and nutrition on a weekly basis. This has instilled me with full confidence in my ability to provide the high quality coaching service Jack has provided myself for years to all of my coaching clients. I’m very passionate about helping others achieve fulfilment both physically and mentally. I look forward to working with you all.
